About the Program
The Canada-Ontario Jobs Grant (COJG) provides direct financial support to train both new and existing staff members. The program operates on a shared investment model, where the cost of training is divided between the employer and the Government.

For employers with 100 or more employees:

The training cost is split equally between the employer and the Government, up to a maximum of $10,000 per trainee.
For employers with fewer than 100 employees:

The Government provides the majority of the funding, covering five-sixths of the training costs, with the employer contributing one-sixth.
For those training a new hire:

Employers may be eligible to receive up to 100% of training costs covered, up to a maximum of $15,000 per trainee.
This funding is provided by the Government of Canada through the Canada Jobs Grant program delivered by the Government of Ontario.
